Faculty Training

Once a partner institution agreement has been signed, AHA offers our Online Course Monitor (OCM) training for all faculty assigned to oversee the AHA online courses at no charge. This course trains faculty on the administration responsibilities such as registration, monitoring students progress, participating in discussion forums, grade book functions and much more.

Through the OCM training, faculty will be able to:
  1. Review how AHA's online courses are implemented
  2. Understand what makes a successful online course monitor;
  3. Learn how to successfully enroll your students using AHA's online registration process;
  4. Participate and actively monitor your students' progress;
  5. Understand the Teacher's Desk and how to use each tool to maximize your student's success.
